CHRP Dorcas Wainaina (OGW) is the Executive Director of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) Kenya, a State Agency established under the Human Resource Management Professionals (HRMP) Act of 2012 to regulate the HR profession in Kenya.
As the Executive Director IHRM she has provided overall strategic leadership and direction for the Institute driving the realization of IHRM strategic goals, growing membership from 6,500 to 17,000 in less than 3 years and successful Operationalization of the HRMP Act. This has fostered productive engagements with stakeholders including Ministries, Government Corporations, State Agencies and Constitutional Commissions. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Project Management (AAPM), serves in the Board of Honorary Advisors for Global Academy of Finance Management (GAFM);
